Track 1 Thursday – Future of Community Cross Domain (CD) Technology – Capabilities and Plans

This track will consist of discussions of Community CD Capabilities as described in the System Technology Evolution Plan (STEP); the analysis of the CD Research and Development, Certification Test and Evaluation (CT&E) and Baseline products focusing on the capability gaps and the schedule for meeting these gaps; and the Functional assessments of CD Technologies.

  • Future Development Plans (Baseline – R&D) linked to the test schedule
  • Portal CD Capability Update – Intelink/ AKO/DKO, DISA IA32

Track 2 – CD Modernization - From the Core to the Edge

Participants in this track will gain an updated perspective on the DoD and IC’s progress in implementing CD Enterprise Services and the challenges and lessons learned. The tactical edge will be addressed along with its unique challenges and opportunities. Community activities, including the Comprehensive National Cybersecurity Initiative to modernize the CD environment and protect the classified networks will be showcased.

Track 3 – C&A, Risk Management, and Reciprocity

The purpose of this track is to provide CD Technology Project Managers, Developers, Planners, Certifiers, Accreditors and Security Testers, information on the current state of the C&A transformation and the community risk management framework and how the application of these concepts will be used as building blocks to reciprocity. Reciprocity is critical in minimizing redundancy, increasing efficiency, and supporting the timely implementation of mission-enabling cross domain solutions. Leveraging the situational awareness gained from this track will help ensure that cross domain technology developments across the DOD, IC and Federal agencies are responsive and aligned with transformational initiatives.
