CALL FOR PAPERS

The theme of the 2023 SAP IT & Cybersecurity Summit is Emerging Technologies to Support the Warfighter: At the Intersection of System Security, Access Management, & Data Sharing. To populate a robust agenda, we are issuing a call for papers to partners and supporters of this community to request that expertise, experiences, innovations, creativity, and out-of-the-box solutions are shared with Summit attendees. We seek presentations that provide program updates, ongoing and groundbreaking research and developments in artificial intelligence, cutting-edge (or) disruptive technology, and how these relate in context of current challenges from various perspectives i.e., the warfighter, industry, government acquisitions, and academia/industry, etc.

Presentation Guidelines:

  • Most presentations will need to be at the UNCLASSIFIED level.
  • Regardless of the level of the presentation, all presenters must be US Citizens and have a minimum of a SECRET level clearance to present.
  • We have very limited presentation spots available for classified content (SECRET level only). We will ask that those chosen to present a classified session be prepared to present each day on the same topic as we will be repeating classified sessions to allow access for the most participants.
  • Completion and submission of this form does not guarantee you a speaking slot at the summit. If your topic and expertise are a good match for the agenda, you will be contacted for further information. If you are ultimately chosen, you will be sent relevant speaker information.
  • Please note that speaking opportunities are voluntary. You will not be paid or reimbursed for any travel/lodging. Breakout session speakers are members of our community, and as such, must register as an attendee for the event (including the attendee fee.)
  • If your submission or presentation reads like a sales pitch or overt promotion of your company, products, or services, you will not be selected.
  • Treat your presentation as an opportunity to give a “Ted Talk” to the audience. Take the opportunity to look ahead and think big. If you want to interact with the audience, you can.
  • Be forward thinking. Present solutions that are proactive rather than reactive in nature. How can the government get ahead of threats and vulnerabilities in the operating environment?

Submission Deadline: Friday, August 25, 2023

The call for papers submission form will be closed at 8:00 PM Eastern/5:00 PM Pacific the evening of Friday, August 25th.
